A recap from the first Pharmalys Voice of 2026

Apr 20, 2026 | Non classé, Quality & Business Excellence

On 26 March 26 2026, Pharmalys held its first Pharmalys Voice meeting of the year, bringing together colleagues from across the company for an engaging and interactive virtual session. With a mix of insightful presentations, lively discussions and moments of fun, the meeting set a strong tone for collaboration and knowledge sharing in the months ahead.

What is Pharmalys Voice?

Pharmalys Voice is a company-wide meeting designed to encourage open dialogue, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and connect our globally distributed teams. Held three times a year, it provides a dedicated space for colleagues to share their experiences, highlight challenges, exchange ideas, and celebrate achievements from their day-to-day work.

This initiative reflects Pharmalys’ commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and continuous growth. It allows team members to better understand each other’s roles, gain practical insights, and contribute to shaping how we work together. With colleagues spread across multiple countries, these meetings also offer valuable opportunities to build stronger personal connections through interactive and engaging moments.

An important feature of Pharmalys Voice is that it is hosted by a team member outside of the management team. This rotating Master of Ceremony role helps develop leadership and communication skills, while ensuring the meeting remains grounded in the voices and perspectives of the wider team.

March 2026 meeting

The March 2026 edition of Pharmalys Voice was hosted by Clinical Research Associate Celestin, who acted as Master of Ceremony. He introduced the concept and agenda, guided participants through the session, and ensured the meeting ran smoothly and on time.

We began with a fun icebreaker, ‘Two Truths & a Lie’. Six team members shared their statements, while colleagues guessed the false one via the chat. The activity sparked laughter and friendly competition, while also showing how well colleagues know each other despite working remotely.

The meeting also included a warm welcome to Marietou, who recently joined the Clinical Operations and Technologies Unit at Pharmalys, supporting CTMS and eTMF management and study activity tracking. She shared her professional background and enthusiasm for joining the team, and was greeted with supportive messages from colleagues.

Getting to know each other’s roles

A central part of this session focused on learning more about colleagues’ roles, a topic suggested by the team.

Finance Assistant Marliyatou, Human Resources Assistant Sambry, and Clinical Research Associate Myriam delivered engaging presentations about their current positions at Pharmalys. They shared insights into their daily responsibilities, examples of their work, and reflections on their professional growth within the company since joining the team through both the Mastercard Foundation and Pharmalys Academy of Clinical research Excellence (PACE) programme.

These sessions play an important role in strengthening  team cohesion, ensuring that everyone understands how each individual contributes to the organisation. By highlighting the value of every role, they reinforce a shared sense of purpose and mutual appreciation across teams. The presentations encouraged questions, sparked meaningful conversations, and further highlighted the value of communication and knowledge sharing.

Strengthening quality and communication

The second part of the meeting focused on key operational topics. QA Manager Jacqueline delivered an insightful presentation on the role of internal audits in inspection readiness. Using a memorable football team analogy, she illustrated how different functions within Pharmalys work together to ensure quality and compliance. Her session served as a valuable reminder of Pharmalys’ strong commitment to quality across all clinical research domains and prompted active discussion among participants.

Senior Clinical Project Manager & Clinical Operations Team Lead Kamaljot then took the floor for a presentation on preparing and conducting sponsor calls. She walked through the key steps involved, highlighting best practices and placing strong emphasis on the importance of clear communication, both with clients and within internal teams. She also underlined the importance of thorough preparation by Pharmalys teams for these meetings, including anticipating challenges, carefully preparing each discussion and proactively proposing solutions to sponsors whenever needed. Her presentation resonated strongly, generating thoughtful questions and exchanges.

Thoughts and feedback

As with every Pharmalys Voice meeting, team input remains essential. Participants were invited to share ideas for future sessions via Slido, resulting in a wide range of suggested topics.

These included building stronger relationships with investigators, career development presentations, leadership services, and the growing role of AI in clinical research. This feedback will help shape upcoming meetings, ensuring they remain relevant and valuable to the team.

Looking ahead

The meeting concluded with Celestin thanking all speakers and participants for their contributions and engagement. This first session of 2026 successfully reinforced Pharmalys’ culture of collaboration, openness, and continuous improvement.

With the next Pharmalys Voice meeting scheduled for June 2026, we look forward to continuing these conversations and building on the strong foundation set at the start of the year.
