The second Pharmalys Voice meeting, June 2026

Jul 8, 2026 | Non classé, Quality & Business Excellence

On 25 June 2026, Pharmalys colleagues came together virtually for the second Pharmalys Voice meeting of the year.  The meeting welcomed 35 participants across four continents, providing an opportunity to connect, exchange knowledge and celebrate the expertise throughout the company. Pharmalys Voice continues to be an important platform for bringing colleagues together, encouraging collaboration across departments and regions, and giving employees the opportunity to share their experiences with the wider team.

What is Pharmalys Voice?

Pharmalys Voice is a company-wide meeting designed to encourage open dialogue, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and connect our globally distributed teams. Held three times a year, it provides a dedicated space for colleagues to share their experiences, highlight challenges, exchange ideas, and celebrate achievements from their day-to-day work.

This initiative reflects Pharmalys’ commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and continuous growth. It allows team members to better understand each other’s roles, gain practical insights, and contribute to shaping how we work together. With colleagues spread across multiple countries, these meetings also offer valuable opportunities to build stronger personal connections through interactive and engaging moments.

An important feature of Pharmalys Voice is that it is hosted by a team member outside of the management team. This rotating Master of Ceremony role helps develop leadership and communication skills, while ensuring the meeting remains grounded in the voices and perspectives of the wider team.

June 2026 meeting

This edition of Pharmalys Voice was hosted by Clinical Research Associate, Eric, who served as Master of Ceremony. Eric welcomed attendees, introduced the meeting agenda and guided the session throughout the afternoon, ensuring presentations ran smoothly and allowing plenty of time for discussion and questions.

As always, the meeting began with an interactive icebreaker designed to bring colleagues together. The game challenged participants to identify two Pharmalys colleagues represented in each of ten AI-generated images that combined the facial features of different team members.

The activity saw plenty of laughter and friendly competition while demonstrating just how well colleagues know one another despite working remotely across multiple countries.

Experience in people management at Pharmalys

The first presentations were delivered by Clinical Project Manager (CPM) and Clinical Operations Team Lead (COTL) Mbaye, and CPM and COTL Kamaljot, who shared their experiences on the theme ‘Experience as a People Manager Over the Past Year’.

Both speakers reflected on their professional journeys into people management, discussing the lessons they have learned, the challenges they have overcome and the approaches that have helped them support and develop their teams. The presentations prompted an engaging discussion, with colleagues asking thoughtful questions and sharing positive feedback.

Several team members who report directly to Mbaye and Kamaljot also took the opportunity to express their appreciation for their leadership.

Supporting Oxford University research

Following a short break, Medical Safety Officer Darshan presented an insightful session titled ‘Missions for Oxford University’. Darshan shared his experience working on studies for Oxford University, providing colleagues with an overview of the mission and the unique challenges involved.

His presentation highlighted the cross-functional collaboration required to successfully deliver this work and sparked a lively Q&A  session from colleagues.

The presentation also recognised Darshan’s achievement in successfully leading a type of clinical mission that was new to him, demonstrating both adaptability and the breadth of expertise within the Pharmalys team.

Strengthening our information security culture

Information security was another important focus of the meeting, with Senior IT Officer Cheikh Tidiane introducing the new Pharmalys Information Security Awareness Training Programme. The session explained how the training will be delivered through the company’s Learning Management System (LMS), with interactive modules and assessments designed to strengthen cybersecurity awareness across the organisation.

By presenting the programme during Pharmalys Voice, colleagues gained a clear understanding of why information security is a shared responsibility and how the new training will help protect both the company and our clients.

Suggestions for future meetings

As part of Pharmalys Voice’s commitment to continuous improvement, attendees were invited to submit anonymous suggestions for future meeting topics using Slido. The team proposed a wide range of ideas, including employee wellbeing, career development, business continuity, experiences from country offices and organisational strategy. These suggestions will help shape future Pharmalys Voice sessions, ensuring the meetings continue to reflect the interests and priorities of colleagues across the company.

Thank you to everyone who participated

The meeting concluded with Eric thanking all presenters and participants for their enthusiasm, engagement and valuable contributions throughout the afternoon. The June 2026 Pharmalys Voice meeting once again demonstrated the value of creating opportunities for colleagues to learn from one another, celebrate achievements and strengthen connections across our global organisation. We look forward to continuing these conversations at the next Pharmalys Voice meeting in September 2026.
