International Women’s Day 2026

Mar 3, 2026 | Non classé

International Women’s Day is a moment to reflect not only on progress made, but on the responsibility we share to keep moving forward.

At Pharmalys, this year’s theme, Give To Gain, resonates strongly with how we view leadership, collaboration, and impact. In global health and clinical research, progress is never achieved in isolation. It is built through shared knowledge, mentorship, opportunity, and trust. When we invest in women, we strengthen the entire ecosystem. Supporting women’s advancement is embedded in our culture and leadership.

Our CEO, Marieme Ba, actively champions women’s education, development and leadership. Through her involvement in the Shine to Lead programme, she contributes to building confidence, skills, and networks for young women pursuing careers in science. Encouraged by her example, every Pharmalys team member is a strong advocate for women’s education and health.

Within Pharmalys, Marieme has created a culture of well-being, one that recognises sustainable performance depends on balance. By promoting professional growth alongside personal well-being, we aim to create an environment where women can thrive, lead, and innovate without compromise.

For Pharmalys, “giving” means:

  • Creating pathways to leadership
  • Investing in mentorship and training
  • Promoting equitable opportunities
  • Supporting flexibility and well-being
  • Amplifying women’s expertise across our global teams

Gender equality is not a standalone initiative, it is part of how we build resilient teams and deliver meaningful impact in the regions we serve.

This International Women’s Day, we reaffirm our commitment to advancing women in science, healthcare, and leadership.
