December 2024 Newsletter: Season’s greetings from Pharmalys! ✨

Dec 23, 2024 | Newsletters

Dear all, 2024 has been a year of growth and exciting developments for Pharmalys and the Pharmalys Academy of Clinical research Excellence (PACE).
Among the highlights, Pharmalys expanded its reach with new international clients and projects, while welcoming new team members across Business Operations, Capacity Building, Clinical Operations, Finance, and Strategic Projects.
The PACE pilot cohort, launched in 2023, concluded this year with a memorable graduation ceremony held in Dakar. The event brought together notable clinical research stakeholders, including Professors of medicine, a representative from the Mastercard Foundation, as well as graduates’ families and friends.
We also conducted several capacity-building trainings for clinical research professionals, including members of Ethics Committees and Regulatory Bodies. Our work extended to auditing numerous clinical research laboratories as part of the GCLP Accreditation Scheme.
Additionally, we hosted the recent Clinical Research Excellence and Development Opportunity (CREDO) webinar on Implementation Research, featuring leading experts in the field and attracting 136 participants. Throughout the year, we continued to strengthen our culture of quality, enhancing our standards across all areas of work.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are eager to embrace new challenges and pursue ambitious goals. We’ll be sharing videos showcasing events from Pharmalys and PACE, as well as highlights from the CREDO webinar. Our commitment remains steadfast in providing high-level scientific and medical information while advancing efforts to sustain and develop the clinical research ecosystem wherever it is needed.

We wish you all a joyful and restful holiday season and a prosperous start to the new year!
