Pharmalys Conducts GCLP Audit at Swansea University

Nov 3, 2026 | GCLP Accreditation Scheme

Pharmalys is pleased to announce the completion of a Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) audit at the DRU Cymru, Swansea University, conducted on 13-14 August 2026.

The audit was led by Beatrice, Pharmalys GCLP Consultant, who worked with the DRU Cymru team to assess the laboratory’s processes and quality management systems against GCLP requirements.

GCLP audits play an important role in supporting the quality, reliability and integrity of laboratory data generated in clinical research. They provide an opportunity to review existing practices, identify areas for continued improvement and ensure that laboratory operations are aligned with recognised quality standards.

Through its GCLP accreditation scheme, Pharmalys works with research institutions and laboratories to strengthen quality management systems and support the consistent application of GCLP principles.

We congratulate the DRU Cymru team at Swansea University on the successful completion of their audit and thank them for their collaboration and engagement throughout the process. Pharmalys remains committed to supporting research institutions in maintaining high standards of laboratory quality and contributing to reliable, high-quality clinical research.
