On June 26, 2025, Pharmalys held its second Pharmalys Voice meeting of the year, bringing together colleagues from across the company in a dynamic and interactive virtual gathering. The meeting was marked by thoughtful presentations, engaging discussions, and a sense of team spirit.
What is Pharmalys Voice?
Pharmalys Voice is a company-wide meeting designed to encourage open dialogue, create cross-functional collaboration, and bring our globally distributed team closer together. Held three times a year, it provides a dedicated space for team members to speak freely about their work, share challenges, offer insights, and highlight accomplishments from their day-to-day professional lives.
This initiative reflects our commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and growth. Whether it’s clarifying roles, offering practical tips, or sharing feedback with leadership, Pharmalys Voice gives everyone a platform to be heard. It’s also a chance to connect on a more personal level, with lighter, more interactive moments that strengthen our sense of community, especially important for a team spread across 17 countries.
An essential part of Pharmalys Voice is that it’s hosted by someone outside the management team. This rotating Master of Ceremony role gives team members a chance to build confidence and leadership skills, while ensuring that the meeting truly reflects the voices of the broader team. It’s also a valuable opportunity for the MC to practice public speaking, which can be beneficial for their professional development, especially when presenting at trainings, lectures, or congresses.
June 2025 Meeting
The June 2025 edition of Pharmalys Voice brought colleagues together for an engaging virtual gathering, led by Clinical Trial Assistant Sidje-Alice as Master of Ceremony. With her warmth and energy, she helped create an atmosphere of openness and participation from the start.
We kicked things off with an interactive icebreaker asking: “What’s been happening in everyone’s countries?” The question led to some fun, thoughtful, and occasionally sobering insights, ranging from cultural anecdotes to current events. It was a reminder of the diversity within our team and the unique perspectives we each bring.
Getting to Know Each Other’s Roles
One important aspect of Pharmalys Voice is the opportunity to learn about colleagues’ work in detail. This time, we heard from Kenyan Clinical Research Associate, Timothy, and French Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Associate, Arthur, who each gave detailed presentations on their current roles. They shared their day-to-day responsibilities, both in-office and on the field, and reflected on their professional journeys at Pharmalys. Their presentations were very well received by the team, prompting numerous positive comments and appreciation from colleagues.
Growth at Pharmalys
Pharmalys Voice also provides a space for leadership to share important company updates, focusing on solutions and changes driven by team feedback. An updated company organigram was shared, providing a bird’s-eye view of how the organisation is evolving, and how various teams are expanding and aligning to better serve our mission.
Two existing service areas were spotlighted with updates to team structures and strategic focus:
- The Medical Monitoring and Safety Department was introduced in greater detail, offering insight into the team’s mission and day-to-day operations. The Grow 360 internship programme, an exciting initiative designed to nurture future talent in this space, was also introduced.
- The Regulatory Affairs & Study Start-Up Business Unit, illustrating the team’s refined approach through a real-world case study.
The presentations were both interactive and informative, generating strong interest from attendees.
Thoughts and Feedback
Team input plays an important role in shaping the direction and content of Pharmalys Voice. Insights from the 2024 annual meeting poll were shared, reflecting on the feedback received and how it’s helping to guide improvements for future sessions. Comments from the March 2025 meeting were also revisited, with colleagues encouraged to propose new topics for upcoming Pharmalys Voice meetings and to explore additional ways of sharing ideas and updates.
As the session came to a close, Sidje-Alice thanked everyone for their energy, openness, and contributions. This edition of Pharmalys Voice once again reinforced the power of communication, shared purpose, and mutual respect.
We’re already looking forward to the next gathering in September, with more voices, more insights, and more opportunities to grow together!
